How many different crops do you grow?

Quite a few, but not all of them. We primarily focus on sweet corn, pumpkins, apples, and strawberries. But we take pride in all the other crops we’re growing as well whether it’s asparagus, rhubarb, or potatoes.

Do you do anything for food safety?

Absolutely. We are inspected annually by FSMA through the State of Ohio and in the past we have met GlobalGAP standards in peppers and green beans when required for customers.

Why should I buy from you and not a distributor or produce auctions?

The answer is simple, quality and consistency. While you might get consistency from a distributor, it might not be the best quality. And where produce auctions make up in quality, if supply is down then your cost goes up significantly that week.

Aren’t you just another wholesaler?

Nope. Ethan is a partner in the Market at the Pickwick Place and knows the ins and outs of being a farm market and the challenges it comes with. By not growing it all, we can focus on the products we do really well and can make sure what we send you is just as good as what we sell in our own store.
