So, how’s it all grown?

Great question, glad you asked. We’re not a big fan of buzzwords but to put it in a phrase we would describe ourselves as regeneratively minded. At every turn we try to integrate any regenerative practice that we can. We’re passionate about conservation and strive to improve our farm every year. From a diverse crop rotation, to cover cropping, and livestock integration, we want to create a living and resilient farm ecosystem that is better than when we started.

Some of the practices we do on a yearly basis are listed below

  • Cover cropping every acre, every year

  • Using no-till or reduced tillage whenever possible

  • Using an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) system

  • Managing plant nutrition to help ward off insects and disease

  • Grazing livestock in the off season or using manure/compost as a base for our fertility program (read more on how we balance livestock integration and food safety here)
